My only acess to the Internet right now doesn’t have the software to support listening to radio on the internet. How could I tune my radio so I can listen to French channels?

Unless you live within range of a French station there is no way.
I have heard there is a way to listen to radio (music) stations using the prc-119 or 148, but I cannot find the specs of those stations to set up my radio to it. Is this just a myth or is it true? Does anyone have ideas or the know how on this?
