ANTIMC
Antimc is an emcee and producer from LA. He has produced for some of LA's most creative and bold MCs, including Subtitle, Radioinactive, Xololanxinxo and more! Antimc was one of the original members of the Log Cabin, and later helped to start the Westcoast Workforce with Subtitle. He produced much of Radio's Pyramidi on Mush Records. He was on the Mush tour last year, playing guitar in and leading Radioinactive's band. Then he toured with Themselves (Dose and JEL) and Alias! Recently, Antimc has been working on a series of EPs to be subsequently released as an LP for Mush and a full length for Deluxe Records. He and Radioinactive have a 7-inch record out on Sublevel Epidemic called "Aggressive Fun." He's a busy guy! And did you know that he is also absolutely dreamy?! believe in enough to put onto myself permenantly."

Are You Ticklish?
"Yup." Fave Food: "When I'm feeling like something quick, I enjoy a nice afternoon at Roscoe's House of Chicken and Waffles ... When I'm feeling a bit more upscale, I usually go for some French Bistro cooking."

Fave Actor:
Chris Walken

Fave All Time Movie:
"Apocolypse Now"

Fave Hip-Hop Movie:
"Every movie is a hip hop movie if you think about it long enough. But I'd have to say 'King of New York'. Walken and Fishburne killin' it (literally), the invention of the jiggy persona jacked most-notably by Biggie, and the Schooly-D provided soundtrack. I have it on DVD and VHS. 'Buy some cheap ones ... and you can kiss my ass.'"

Fave Hip Hop Artists:
"Ultramagnetic MCs and post-Ultra Kool Keith; Subtitle; Grandmaster Melle Mel, one of the greatest writers in hip hop history; JEL; Fellowship-era Mike 9; Brother J; D.D. King (Dee Dee Ramone's hip hop nom-de-plume); The D.O.C., oh man the Fila Fresh Crew is the shit; CMW, 'It's a Compton Thang' and 'Music to Driveby,' is there a finer debut and sophomore pair in hip hop?; EPMD; LONS. I'm sure there's more... but if I can't think of them, I guess they're not my faves..."

What Is/Was Your Favorite Subject in School?
"Well... I have a degree in sociology and a degree in Political Science from UCLA... but the fact of the matter is, my favorite subject was music. I went to a music magnet in LA called Hamilton. We had mad honeys. Outside of music, I always liked English. I like reading and writing."

Talents:
"I'm a pretty rockin' guitar player and a sweet trombone player. I can write a mean academic paper, we're talkin' 20+ pages easily."

Special Talents:
"I'm double jointed in my shoulders. I can circular breathe, which totally impresses the ladies. I'm a totally creative bullshit artist."

When You Were Little, What Did You Want to Be When You Grew Up?
"When I was really little, I was all about being a scientist. Then, once my dad started playing me records, I wanted to be Lou Reed. Then I wanted to be black for a long time. I kinda always wanted to do some kind of music. When I was about 8, I totally wanted to be a crime-fighter. Not like a cop, but on some total Batman type thing."

How Did You Get Started?
"I started rapping when I was in 7th grade, but not really. I just kinda watched 'Yo!' and would repeat verses I heard on TV. As I got older, I started f*cking with some hardcore sh*t, trying to be on some Suicidal Tendencies
type sh*t. Once I got into high school, I was back to rappin' on the schoolyard and started hanging out with this kid Josef whose cousin started up a crew called Sidewalkids that would later become the Log Cabin. I started making some beats and rapping with them in '94 (which was when I met Radioinactive) and it's been on since then."

Do You Kiss On the First Date?
"If she's into it. Usually I need to be prodded on a bit. I'm kind of shy for the first couple hours."

First Kiss:
"Well... I snuck a kiss on this girl Sasha in 5th grade. But I didn't actually get a mad makeout sesh until I was 17 and was about to graduate high school."

Remember the Last Time a Girl Caught Your Eye. What Was It About Her?
"Wow. Last night I was at an art show and this girl walked by. Out of all the beautiful women there, she had the most amazing eyes. Absolutely stunning. It made it even better that she had her hair cut kind of short and off of her face so I could totally see them. Intense."

Who Do You Admire and Why?
"My parents. They've been through hella ups and downs financially and emotionally and just keep plodding along and loving life. I admire Salvador Dali because he did what he wanted and was totally financially successful. I admire Joe Strummer for basically the same thing. I secretly admire a few women in the greater Los Angeles area."

What is the One Thing You Would Change About Yourself?
"I'd get my shit together. I've got a ton of emotional shit I haven't worked through from the last few years. I'm kind of emotionally retarded. I bottle shit up and it comes out at bad times. And I'd change the fact that I tell strangers really intimate things about myself." ;)

Most Embarrassing Moment:
"I pissed myself in 7th grade and had to stay at school and play some concerts for the whole school. I started stinking up the bandstand, had a big ass stain in my pants. It sucked. My friends helped me play it off though. But, you know, Lisette, the girl I was totally in love with in junior high was sitting behind me. She played glockenspiel and I played trombone. She was complaining about how stank it was in the orchestra pit. She knew it was me. Now she's a high paid video choreographer. She's been in all kinds of Aaliyah videos and J. Lo videos."

Britney Spears or Christina Aguilera?
"Both. Britney face-down and Christina face-up."Where Can Girls Send You Email? Antimc6@hotmail.com, but they go into my Junk Mail folder, so they better put a catchy subject line.
