Finally got around doing my first gig log with the help of my brother DJ Jordan Hung (Check out his videos, youtube channel: theillestboyee). This gig was for my friend’s sweet 16 and there was a about 50 people at the function.
The party started at 6, but people were occupied eating, socializing and arriving fashionably late. The crowd slowly came roaming on the dance floor around 7.
The vibe was slow at first, but near the end it started to pick up. Maybe it was the Korean songs…
Overall this gig went smooth. The setup was stress free and no technically difficulties occurred throughout the job. And lets give it up to everyone there for raising over 400 bucks in donations for St. Vincent de Paul Society of San Francisco.

i recommend …
i recommend charging a little amount or do it for free for your beginning gigs. Then as you get comfortable, confidence and know the buisness start increasing your prices. I usually charge around 85ish to 100ish dollars per hour right now.
