Me and my best mate, Zach, have been doing this radio gig for quite sometime now as a female/male duo. He’s been doing it since he’s 10, and I myself have just started out. It’s a local station in Australia, Albury, and we have our fair number of fans and listeners. We’ve finally decided to promote ourselves and attempt to make it big. His name, obviously, is Zach, and I’m Zoe. the station: 2REM 107.3FM LIVE AND LOCAL.
Originally we had "ZZ TOPS!" until we found out a band was called ZZ TOP =_=
Any listings of what we should have will be WELL APPRECIATED! Cheers guys!
Just another little tidbit guys. We mostly play the best of the 80’s and 90’s like Metallica, Deep Purple, Poison, W.A.S.P, Eric Carmen, Tears For Fears and so and so on. If thats helps then awesome!
How about "Z Z Zapped

I’m 25yo and was djing for 7 years, till last year before stopping because of constant ringing in my ears. I did a few sets on my local dance radio station last year, and i always wanted my own prime time weekly show to come out of it.
A year later (now) they have given me my own primetime show, something i’m very excited to do as djing is a very big part of my life.
Problem is, one show in, and my ears are ringing like hell again. Should i give up the show because of this? I’m going for a hearing test as soon as i get time off work.
Benzodiazepines (xanax, ativan, klonopin) get rid of ringing in the ears.

I was looking online for a radio station in my area that played a certain genre and I found one. The only thing is, its an HD2 radio station. I turned my radio to that station and I wasn’t listening to the correct genre. How do I use my radio to listen to an HD2 radio station? Thanks!
Ummm, you need a HD radio. That’s the whole point.

What makes it different to the normal fm/mw radio I have? I remember as a kid, my Dad would say that he would like a SW radio since you can get broadcasts from other countries like SE Asia. Was he far off the mark? Is it of any use in England? I would like to buy him one.
In terms of reliability and function, which ones are the best? Preferably no more than £40-£50 pounds.
Thank you very much!
Now a days there is no need to buy a Short-wave radio since you have access to radio stations from all over the world through the internet.
SW radios are a pain to tune and you have to know the frequencies of those stations you want. You also need a good external antenna with high gain. Anyway look into grundig.com they make good SW radios.

I am building a portable audio system, which is powered up by a battery. The radio I’m using goes to standby when I turn if off, so it’s still using power. Since its a portable system, I would like to somehow turn the radio completely off so it doesn’t use power while I’m not using it. Can I add a switch that turns the radio completely off?? Or will the radio in standby won’t be using almost no battery at all.
It will use very little power in standby. It has two power wires. One is usually connected to the ignition switch so that the radio goes off when the engine is off. The other always has power, to maintain the preset station memories, volume and tone settings, last station played, and clock time, if it has one. Installing a switch on the first wire does exactly the same thing as the power button on the radio. Installing a switch on the second one will lose all the memories, including the last station it was playing. So adding a switch to either one really doesn’t make sense.

I’m a DJ with Serato and all and I’d like to have more exposure than just playing gigs in my hometown. I currently play: Hip Hop, Top 40, DanceHall, Reggae and R&B. Anybody know where I could look or anybody interested in hiring me?
there is a site called jmeeting.com that has radio stations for it members. i dont know if they can be heard by people who are not at jmeeting or not. i think you have to be a member to create a station but you can go there and check it out for free. youll just need java. it also and mainly a webcam site. check it out. it may be something to fit your current needs. sorry i couldnt be too helpful, i just weatch cams when i go there lol and dont know much about the radio stuff.
